Purpose: This enduring material is designed to examine the Enhanced Surgical Recovery (ESR) education pilot that was conducted at TriStar Centennial Medical Center to improve patient outcomes.
Target Audience: This activity is designed for Physicians and Residents at HCA GME Hospitals.
Format: This presentation was pre-recorded for HCA GME National Grand Rounds Series.
Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this activity you will be able to:
- Describe Enhanced Surgical Recovery (ESR) and the clinical tactics that can improve patient outcomes.
- Define recommended clinical pathway for pre-, intra-, and post-operative interventions.
