Purpose: This enduring material is designed to examine the basic use of plain film radiography as a screening tool for chest and abdominal issues.

Target Audience: This activity is designed for Physicians and Residents at HCA GME Hospitals.

Format: This presentation was pre-recorded for HCA GME National Grand Rounds Series.

Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this activity you will be able to:

  • Discuss anatomical structures of the chest and abdomen and how their presentation via x-ray indicates a medical issue.
  • Apply the use of plain film radiography as a diagnostic tool for chest and abdominal concerns.
