Purpose: This enduring material is designed to examine anemia in the hospital setting.
Target Audience: This activity is designed for Physicians and Residents at HCA GME Hospitals.
Format: This presentation was pre-recorded for HCA GME National Grand Rounds Series.
Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this activity you will be able to:
Ø Define guidelines for transfusing patients based on Hemoglobin count.
Ø Analyze management strategies for hospitalized patients presenting with anemia.
Ø Discuss the prevalence of anemia in hospitalized patients.
