Purpose: This enduring material is designed to examine concepts to integrate psychiatry and medicine and the impact it has on patient care.

Target Audience: This activity is designed for Physicians and Residents at HCA GME Hospitals.

Format: This presentation was pre-recorded for HCA GME National Grand Rounds Series.

Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this activity you will be able to:

Ø Review the rationale behind integrating psychiatry and medicine together in the hospital.

Ø Identify examples of clinical integration of psychiatry into medicine. Ø Examine integration models for different medical care settings to improve patient care.
