Abstract

Purpose: This enduring material is designed to examine the principles of teaching and learning and of the various teaching techniques that can be used to maximize learning in various clinical settings.

Target Audience: This activity is designed for Physicians and Residents at HCA GME Hospitals.

Format: This presentation was pre-recorded for HCA GME National Grand Rounds Series.

Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this activity you will be able to:

  • Review principles of learning and teaching.
  • Apply appropriate teaching techniques for various clinical settings to maximize educational opportunities.
