TriStar Division GME 2024 Research Day

TriStar Division GME held an extremely successful research day on April 19, 2024, with a remarkable array of 41 posters. Among the distinguished participants, Jan Niec, MD (TY), won the poster competition, while Sarah Lancaster, PharmD (Pharmacy resident) was awarded for her outstanding podium presentation. The symposium included insightful podium presentations on topics such as personalized radiation dosimetry in Y90 radioembolization, an analysis of PCOS characterization using EHRs, the impact of COVID-19 on telehealth for buprenorphine/naloxone patients and a comparative study of droperidol and alternative agents in managing acute agitation in emergency settings.

TriStar was honored to have participation from Belmont University, which contributed judges and their keynote speaker, Ashley Horner, PhD, whose presentation titled “Neural Pathways: Underlying Addiction” was a highlight. The event was well attended by facility C-suite executives, division representatives and senior corporate leadership, underscoring the residency’s importance and the collaborative spirit within our research community.
