Description
This coffee table is made from walnut and curly maple. The walnut is from a former resident in Tennessee and the coffee table is a house warming gift to another former resident. The walnut had an unstable crack at one end. Despite many efforts to glue together, it remained unstable. Inlaying maple "stiches" not only solved the stability problem, but also added to the design. Dr. Quillen has been building furniture and woodworking for over 40 years.
