Purpose: This enduring material is designed to examine religion and spirituality in medicine and its importance to patients.

Target Audience: This activity is designed for Physicians and Residents at HCA GME Hospitals.

Format: This presentation was pre-recorded for HCA GME National Grand Rounds Series.

Ø Discuss the importance of spirituality and religion in medicine.

Ø Evaluate the role of spirituality and religion in the creation of hospitals.
