Abstract

Non-bacterial Thrombotic Endocarditis is a rare condition, usually associated with malignancy or autoimmune conditions, such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Patients are typically asymptomatic, but may present with signs and symptoms of systemic emboli, and many are then found to have cardiac valvular vegetations.
