Featured Publications

HCA Healthcare Scholarly Commons is a platform to collect, share and publish the variety of academic work created by the Graduate Medical Education community. It is a collaborative, open access resource developed to discover and showcase our contributions to medical knowledge. It contains:

• GME Publication Clearance (PubCLEAR)
  

  All GME products must receive clearance via PubCLEAR. The standard publication clearance turnaround is 30 days, so be sure to consider PubCLEAR as you are making your research timelines.

• Resident and Faculty Scholarly Works

  Curated collections arranged by discipline. Collections will include journal articles, abstracts, book chapters, books, presentations, conference posters, and other scholarly works by HCA Healthcare residents and faculty.

• Faculty Development Modules

  Resources including instruction modules to support teaching and learning in graduate medical education.

• GME DATACLEAR

  Faculty and residents who need data, statistical support or a project ID can submit a request using the DATACLEAR form. If requesting data, you are required to submit the full version of the research study protocol and evidence of IRB oversight (exemption or approval). After the form is submitted, it will be reviewed for approval. Once approved, the request will be placed in the request queue. Once the request reaches the top of the queue, an analyst will be assigned. The queue for DATACLEAR can be viewed here. If requesting a project ID, you must fill out the applicable fields on the request. After the form is submitted, you will receive a project ID number via email from Administrators of DATACLEAR.
