Abstract
Our daily drive looks different from each unique perspective and lens. The road may be the same, yet not similar for those who travel it. One’s route may consist of hurried anticipation to get settled and put on a white coat, ready to pick up a knife, or perhaps listen to a baby’s first heart beats. Others may dread the drive as the last chance they see or hold a loved one’s hand or anxious for some heavy, burden-laden news. Some wish for hope, while others pray for healing. Our daily drive begins to appear different as we begin to notice those around us, like leaves on a tree, we are not the same but tied to the same destination. Our mission becomes clearer to commit to the care and improvement of human life.
