Abstract

This course is designed to aid the GME Faculty understand burnout and move to engagement.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion, participants should be able to:

  • Reintroduce the Importance of Resident Physician Well-Being
  • Remind stakeholders of the Scope and Impact of the Current Problem regarding Well-Being within GME
  • Discuss the Methodology and Results of the Nationwide HCA Resident Well-Being Study
  • Propose a Positive Psychology based framework for addressing the problems of burnout and depression
