Fourth Annual GME Art Contest
Submission Deadline: November 1st, 2024
The HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine is sponsoring an art contest for all HCA Healthcare employees and affiliates. We encourage the artistic endeavors of our colleagues, and this contest is a celebration of your creativity.
Your submissions will be judged by a panel of your peers. Your work could be eligible to be published in a future issue of the HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine’s Humanities section (Eligibility requirements for publication must adhere to journal policies.).
Submissions should be original works inspired by, but not necessarily representative of, the practice of medicine from any perspective: clinician, caregiver, researcher, teacher, learner or patient.
The contest will accept submissions from a broad range of artistic media: photography, sculpture, painting, textile work, video, music, prose and poetry. We are not accepting submissions created by artificial intelligence.

Artists must also submit a statement of no more than 250 words that explains the connection between the work and their experiences in medicine. It could explain how the work relates to medicine or how the practice of their art is a strategy to maintain wellness. Submit your work(s) here or using the submission link in the sidebar.
