Volume 1, Issue 0 (2020) Research, Education, Practice and Policy in the COVID-19 Era
I am pleased to share this special issue of the HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine on the COVID-19 pandemic. During this trying time, physicians the world over have devoted their efforts to mitigating, alleviating and curing this disease. We present a collection of this work.
This special issue also represents the breadth of the scope of our journal, with editorial and news articles, articles on the education experience, a review article, case reports, research and quality improvement studies and items of personal and artistic reflection.
As the journal nears its first full year of publication, we are honored by the support we have received from the medical community to this new endeavor, especially for this special issue. Submissions have come from across the country and internationally.
